Help is available from the Department of Teaching & Learning when you need it
Northern Arizona University advisors will help you determine the courses to take as you work toward your degree in education. Many departments, like Teaching and Learning, also have staff and faculty members available to assist with input to ensure your path to degree completion is on the right track. Whether you’re a new student, transfer student, online student, or continuing student, are available to you.
First year students and undeclared students
The Gateway Student Success Center can also be contacted by emailing or calling your NAU advisor. Not sure who your advisor is? Use your student center in LOUIE.
Teaching & Learning students, sophomore level and above
Find assistance in the welcoming, student-centered environment of the College of Education’s Office of Student Services.
NAU online and statewide campus students
Current NAU online and statewide campus students are encouraged to use  to schedule an appointment with their assigned advisor.
Flagstaff mountain campus graduate students
Once you are admitted to a Teaching and Learning graduate program, you will be assigned an academic advisor. All students are encouraged to use  to schedule an appointment with their assigned advisor. Questions can also be asked by emailing or calling your NAU advisor. Not sure who your advisor is? Non-degree seeking students
If you are a non-degree seeking student taking classes at the Flagstaff campus and need advisement, please contact the Teaching and Learning department office by email or at 928-523-9316.
