Collaborating in three dimensions
A lifelong artist and Assistant Professor in NAU’s School of Art, David Winslow Van Ness is known as the “power user” of the 3D printer in Cline Library’s MakerLab.

The NAU Honors College brought alumna Claire Sipos, BS Photography, ’20, to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and gave her the opportunity to push her own boundaries.

In discussing the acoustics, Professor and School of Music Director Todd E. Sullivan explained, “The configuration of the wood is designed to send the sound all around the room, creating a giant matrix of sound waves. Solo recitals; orchestra, band, and choral performances; plays and operas; and spoken presentations are among the public events that occur in these halls.
Art galleries
The College of Arts and Letters maintains two galleries on campus allowing students and faculty to display their art. These galleries—the Beasley Gallery and the NAU Art Museum—are open to the community.
Cline Library – Special Collections and Archives
Cline Library maintains a collection of research materials on the history of northern Arizona and the Colorado Plateau. Many of these materials are available digitally.
