The future is yours

You have the opportunity to make things happen at NAU. You can step into leadership roles available in diverse areas across the university, be a peer mentor to help other students realize their success, or help bring fun activities to campus. Whatever you choose, you will meet new people and build valuable experiences.

Become a leader

You might be a group leader with an NAU organization, a lab safety officer, or serve any number of leadership roles around campus. No matter your title, the common thread is that all of these opportunities teach you skills to influence and build your confidence that you will take with you beyond college.

Look for leadership opportunities in clubs and organizations or within a fraternity or sorority. NAU offers a variety of ways for you to dig deeper into what it means to be an effective leader. Starting your freshman year, you can gather with other students interested in honing their leadership skills by participating in The Edge Leadership Experience.
