Steps to apply
Follow the steps below to apply to Northern Arizona University as a part-time, non-degree seeking student.
1. Complete an online application
Complete the online application below. You will be required to pay a $50 application fee while completing your online application.
2. Submit your English test scores
Upload your proof of English proficiency to the application software or email it to studynau@nau.edu. You may submit unofficial test results but we may later ask for official results. The minimum requirements for university admission are:

From one of these English-speaking countries | No proof of English required |
If you do not meet NAU’s English proficiency requirement, you may be required to take an English placement test upon arriving and/or enroll in Northern Arizona University’s Program in Intensive English until you pass the English proficiency requirement.
