Accelerated Program Information:
The AT Program has been approved to offer an accelerated program option (graduate in 5 years after starting your undergraduate experience), in addition to our regular 2-year MSAT program, for select students interested in applying to and beginning our MSAT Program early. Students will complete the requirements of either Exercise Physiology or Fitness/Wellness (accelerated programs) during their undergraduate program. After the completion of the student’s 2nd year, pending the student has completed at least 77 credits (EXS) or 81 credits (FW), they will apply to the NAU MSAT accelerated program via the NAU Office of Graduate and Professional Studies, no later than January 5 of their 3rd year.  If accepted, they will begin the MSAT Program at the beginning of their 4th year while finishing the last 6-8 credits (upper division general elective courses) of their bachelor’s program in EXS or FW by completing the first (and second) semester graduate courses in athletic training. See links below for more information. If you have any questions, please contact the MSAT Program Director –Dr. Glenn Edgerton.
